MONTHLY NEWS DOWNLOAD:
St. Marks United Methodist Church is looking for an Organist and Pianist to fulfill a part-time position beginning on August 1, 2012.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Play for Sunday morning worship o Select and play appropriate music for each Sunday worship service that coordinates with the Lectionary, theme of the service, or time of the Christian year.
• Play for extra services as they appear throughout the Christian calendar year (i.e. Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, etc…)
• Accompany the adult choir during Wednesday night rehearsals and Sunday morning worship • Provide music for rehearsals and performances for any choir specials as scheduled by the Choir Director or the Pastor
• Accompany the children's choir
• Demonstrate familiarity with and flexibility of various styles of worship music.
